NSF agar 006 green
« on: August 26, 2014, 10:15:36 PM »
Recipe:

100ml cold water
2 tbsp agar

200ml boiling water
1 tbsp deb
2 tbsp of light malt extract
1 tsp yeast
A few drops of green food colouring.

500ml boiling water

Mix cold water and agar.

Mix 200ml boiling water and 3 dry ingredients, then pour into flask.
Add 500ml boiling water and stir as it comes to the boil for a couple of minutes.  Remove from heat and stir in agar water slowly.  Bring back to boil, careful to not let it boil over.

Remove from heat and allow to cool to about 60 degrees C and then pour into take away PP containers.  Allow to cool completely and then put on lids.  Put 6 plates inside a larger take away container and PC.

For some reason on this batch, I think due to a recipe from a fellow grower I decided to reduce the deb from 2 tbsp to 1 and up the malt extract.
